Wholehearted Living
Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, no matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough. It's going to bed at night thinking, Yes, I am imperfect and vulnerable and sometimes afraid, but that doesn't change the truth that I am also brave and worthy of love and belonging

I've written several blogs, ( I'll list them at the end, so if you'd like to get to know me better you can read all about my journey), about why I choose to live a simpler slower paced mindful lifestyle, I've also shared the reasons why I stopped working in my early 40s as a full-time Commercial Realtor in 2009, and why I stopped over volunteering, and over focusing on everything and everyone else so I didn't have to focus on myself.
The decade of my 30s I had gotten overwhelmed, overworked and overweight, completely out of my center, and needed to do something to get myself balanced and grounded and focused on figuring out what I needed, so I could reclaim my peace and my power.
I started to practice self-care & self-love, I started to rethink everything, and focus on what I really wanted and what mattered most to me. I hadn't done that since the decade of my 20s.
I've been practicing self-care, self-love, gratitude, mindfulness and meditation, almost daily for the past 14 years.
So when I came across Brené Brown and her Wholehearted Living, I knew I was on the right path.
I don't have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness - it's right in front of me if I'm paying attention and practicing gratitude
